WHY? To grow closer to Jesus Christ by trying new things, knowing He is our anchor in all things, and have fun while doing it!

8:00 AM meet at Whitewater Center
10:30-12:00 Group Activities
12:30-1:30 White Water Rafting
1:30-2:00 Lunch
2:00-5:00 pm Activities
5:30-6:30pm End of day wrap up and Devotional
6:30 Parents pick up young woman at the Whitewater Center
*Parents, please note that stake or ward/branch leaders are not responsible for the transportation of the young women to or from High Adventure. Parents may arrange carpooling at their own discretion with other yw parents.

What to bring in addition to USNWC suggestions below:
What to Bring from USNWC website:
Rafting: Secure footwear with a heel strap is required. Old sneakers, water shoes, or sandals with a rubber sole are suggested.
Land Sports: Closed-toe shoes are required for all land activities.
Whitewater Kayaking: Secure footwear with a heel strap is required. Old sneakers, water shoes, or sandals with a rubber sole are suggested.
Rentals: Necessary activity specific equipment and gear is included with the purchase of an activity pass. If you forget something or feel that what you brought isn’t sufficient, the USNWC can outfit you with rentals. Rentals require a valid credit card and additional charges apply for lost or damaged rental gear.

- To register please fill out this form.
- Fill out the Church activity waiver release.
- Complete and turn in the NUSNWC waiver release.
- Submit google form through website AND email images of completed paper forms to Jennifer Hickman at [email protected].
What to bring in addition to USNWC suggestions below:
- Refillable water bottle with name marked clearly on it (bottled water is for sale but will add up, they have multiple water fountain/cooler stations to keep you hydrated)
- Lightweight Daypack to hold personal items
- Extra cash/card for snacks or optional rentals

- For warm weather: bathing suit, shorts, t-shirt, rash guard, or quick drying clothing is ideal.
- For cooler weather: bathing suit, rain jacket, warm/quick drying clothing, and warm socks. Cotton and jeans are not recommended as they will only make you colder.

- Eyeglass strap
- Sunscreen
- Towel
- A change of clothes and shoes
- Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
- Helmet
- Paddle

- Climbers may utilize personal gear at staff discretion.
- Helmet (bike and climbing)
- Climbing harness
Whitewater Kayaking: Secure footwear with a heel strap is required. Old sneakers, water shoes, or sandals with a rubber sole are suggested.
- Hard-boaters (kayaks and canoes) are required to provide all of their own gear for paddling. Flotation is required.
- Those participating in whitewater kayak instruction will be provided with all necessary gear.
Rentals: Necessary activity specific equipment and gear is included with the purchase of an activity pass.
